The purpose of the ''Blacksmith''-class Fleet Auxiliary is to manufacture the parts a fleet needs in order to keep going. It carries all the equipment needed to harvest and process raw materials needed to repair a ship post-battle. Additionally it can manufacture reloads for ships magazines and silos. However, it lacks true offensive systems, and non-essential defensive systems. Due, however, to their increased mass for supplies, they require stronger engines and are less maneuverable.
