The Conventional Uniform Series is the overarching term referring to standard fatigues and uniforms of personnel within [[Central Command]] and it's component branches, and does not include powered armor such as the [[Armored Exo-Suit]].

A common feature of the "conventional" uniforms is the inclusion of "smart fibers"; nanite-infused carbon fibers that are designed to fulfill a number of needs of the uniform and provide greater functionality than ordinary cloth uniforms.

==Conventional Combat Uniform==
The Conventional Combat Uniform (CCU) utilizes nanite-infused carbon fibers, as part of a "smart fiber". This "smart fiber" allows the uniform to alter it's appearance to provide better camouflage to hide personnel in the field. The fibers can also tighten or harden to help deflect blades and light caliber weapons, or to compress to serve as a temporary pressure bandage until proper first aid can be applied. In the uniform's default state, the CCU maintains a washed-out white, grey, and black digital pattern.

Typically the uniform comes with a ballistic mesh overlay, capable of withstanding most small arms fire from conventional weapons.

==Conventional Dress Uniform==
The Conventional Dress Uniform (CDU) uses smart fiber technology in order to allow it to maintain it's shape and avoid crumpling, as well as to help deflect small arms, knives, or other potential tools of assassination. If penetrated, like the CCU, the CDU is capable of acting as a temporary pressure bandage.

In it's default state, the CDU appears as a faintly reflective silver and matte black dress uniform. With access via a [[Neural Interface]], or other, similar, remote controls, the CDU can use its nanites to mute the reflective properties and dull any reflective trim in order to make it harder to see, or to "project" the image of various service awards and ribbons on the front (as appropriate).

The trim of the uniform defaults to silver, but is typically shaded to reflect different branches or specialties.
