The {{PAGENAME}} (MIPDW) was designed as a service weapon for close-quarters fighting where a full rifle would be too long or bulky for proper use.
==Design Details==
The {{PAGENAME}} a light coilgun utilizing electromagnetic coils to draw a projectile down the barrel of the weapon. It is designed to allow the wearer to control the settings through a standard [[Neural Interface]]. As it was designed for use on warships or in buildings and other urban areas, the MIPDW has a limiter on it that is activated in the presence of the neural networks used in most government vessels and installations.

The {{PAGENAME}} includes an integral scope, and collapsible stock, allowing it to be used as a full-sized battle rifle. It has a detachable extension for it's barrel, to allow it to generate more speed as needed, with many preferring to equip this extension except in close-quarters. The {{PAGENAME}}
