|History=The SFCV ''Alexander'' (B7) was launched in [[2022|2022 CE]], from [[The Hive]] on [[Sanctuary]]. It was assigned to support the Fleet during the [[War of Secession]]. During the war, the ''Alexander'' survived with minimal damage until the [[Fall of Earth]], when it would take massive damage requiring an overhaul at a drydock. During the ''Alexander'''s time time in the shipyard, it received a number of upgrades and overhauls, before being returned to the Fleet.

The ''Alexander'' remained in service, involved in anti-piracy work and fleet operations until [[2342|2342 CE]], when the first [[Praetorian-class Battleship|''Praetorian''-class battleships]] came online.
|Namesake=The SFCV ''Alexander'' (B7) was named for Alexander III of Macedon, one of the Kings of Macedon, more commonly known as Alexander the Great. Despite passing away at the age thirty-three, his armies coqnuered much of the known world at the time.
