|History=The SFCV ''Dawnstar'' was the second of the newest generation of ''Praetorian''-class battleships. It was commissioned in [[2353|2353 CE]]. The ''Dawnstar'''s career was largely unremarkable, with the majority of it's combat activity being in skirmishes against pirates.

It disappeared in 2388 CE when it was en route from [[Sanctuary]] to [[Charadan]]. It is suspected to have been lost to either pirate activity or enmeshment, but no evidence to support either claim has ever been discovered. Rumors abound that it was lost to a malfunction of it's [[Point Singularity Drive]], or to some experiment in the [[Charyn System]].
