|History=The SFCV ''Eclipse'' (BB2-01) began it's life intended as a new class of vessel, but because technical problems, [[Central Command]] opted to utilize spare parts in the construction, with a number of upgrades intended for the second generation. The ''Eclipse'' was completed in less than a year, and after several months for a shakedown cruise, the ''Eclipse'' was commissioned.
