|History=The SFCV ''Robert Oppenheimer'' (MFF-02) was laid down at the shipyards of [[Jäger Tor|''Jäger Tor'' (PO1-03)]] in the early 2200s, as a mobile fleet fueler, and a sister vessel to the [[SFCV Nikola Tesla|SFCV ''Nikola Tesla'' (MFF-01)]]. It served with the fleet as one of the mobile fuel refineries during the [[Sovereign Colonies Conflict]], to avoid the contamination of captured fuel supplies by saboteurs. The ''Oppenheimer'' served through the next few centuries supporting the [[Ranger Exploration Corps]] by helping refuel scouts on their way out and returning to allow them to return to the field faster. In [[2431|2431 CE]], the ''Oppenheimer'' joined one of the flotillas assigned to the [[Mithus System]] in order to avoid diverting resources from the reconstruction efforts for resupplying the fleet.
