The SFCV ''Sanctuary'' (CV1-02) is the second of the [[Guardian-class Fleet Carrier|''Guardian''-class Fleet Carriers]]. The ''Sanctuary'' is assigned as the Flagship of [[Second Fleet]].
|History=Launched in [[2301|2301 CE]] a month after the [[SFCV Terra|SFCV ''Terra'' (CV1-01)]] after a number of technological advancements made the concept of a space-borne carrier a viable concept. The ''Sanctuary'' conducted two years of shakedown cruises, focused on stress-testing it's systems, and participating in practice combat maneuvers.
