Though the ship was largely completed the following year it would not fully completed until [[2026|2026 CE]], when it was launched. It would serve out the rest of the war, largely assisting in fire support and escort duties.<br /> <br /> Following the end of the war, the ''Shangri-La'' was mothballed while the [[Senate of the Initiative]] decided what to do with the Fleet following the war.
