The ''Sentinel''-class Orbital Platform is designed as an floating orbital fortress, an orbital resupply point, and an orbital habitat. It contains many of the materials needed to keep alive a small population, in addition to the manufacturing and repair things needed to fix a ship. However, it is not a dedicated platform, and lacks enough berths to do that without requiring extensive EVA work. It is designed as a modular platform, that can have fresh pieces "snapped" to it, or removed.<br />
