Etrusc System
Galaxy: Milky Way Galaxy
Orbiting Bodies: Teresh
Controlled By: The Initiative
Surveyed: 2475 CE
Colonized: 2495 CE

The Etrusc System is a system on the edge of The Initiative. As well as being the most recently settled system within human space, the Etrusc System is the furthest from the center of human space.

Jump Points

Name Control Average Travel Time Notes
TBD The Initiative TBD
Unnamed Uncontrolled TBD
Unnamed Uncontrolled TBD Unusable due to distances

The Etrusc System is home to three separate jump points. While one of these points back towards The Initiative, the other two have yet to be explored. Of the two yet to be explored, one is thought to be unusable due to the distances involved being beyond the limits of Point Singularity Drive technology at this time.

Planets

Etrusc One

Etrusc One is a small planetoid, with a semi-molten surface due to it's proximity to it's star. At this time only automated probes have reached it, and reported it to be mineral rich, albeit with conditions too extreme to allow for any mining efforts.

Etrusc Two

Etrusc Two is a hothouse of a planet, with a dense atmosphere trapping in moisture and sunlight, leaving the surface unlivable in anything short of an environmental suit. However, despite this, planet life has survived across the planet, leading to jungle-like conditions with almost no clear group to allow for ships to set down. As a result of automated probes sending back that the world is relatively mineral poor, the planet has been written off as a viable colonizing target.

Teresh

Main article: Teresh

The planet of Teresh is the largest, and only inhabitable, planet within the Etrusc System. While officially colonized, the world has only one permanent settlement, Veii, located deep in the jungles of one of the planets three major landmasses, nestled into a volcanic ridge, though numerous smaller, temporary scientific and mining outposts exist scattered across the continents.
