History

Commissioned in 2128 CE, as the lead vessel of the Samurai-class cruisers, the Justice was the first new cruiser built in forty years, since the final Swordsman-class cruiser. At nearly twice the size of it's predecessor class, the Justice was a testbed for new technology, including modular hulls that could be peeled open to replace entire sections with up-to-date modules rather than requiring refit crews to attempt to pack more equipment into aging hulls not designed for it.

Following the end of its use as a testbed, the Justice was assigned as a combatant with various task forces, combating various pirates. Eventually it came to be assigned with First Fleet.
