History

The SFCV K1-27 was the twenty-seventh vessel in the Conquistador-class of corvettes. Construction on the vessel and several of it's predecessors began in 2106 CE, and was completed for the launch of the majority of the new class in 2107 CE.

Initially the ship was to be named after Captain Erin Diabel, of the Space Forces Command. Captain Diabel was the commanding officer of the SFCV Ilium (D2), during the War of Secession, before going on to become the Secretary of the Navy. However, changes within Space Forces Command lead to the ship's hull number being used as the ship's name.
