The SFCV Phoebe (FF6) is an Archer-class Frigate built for the War of Secession.

History

The SFCV Phoebe (FF6) was laid down in late 2020 CE, at The Hive on Sanctuary, in the Arc System. The Phoebe would be commissioned in 2021 CE, before being folded almost immediately into First Fleet to protect transports to and from the Sol System.

The Phoebe had a long and largely unremarkable service history, serving during the War of Secession, until the Fall of Earth. Following the Fall of Earth, it was loaned to the System Defense Force to aid in clearing travel lanes for starships. The Phoebe would remain under the Space Forces Command, until it was eventually decommissioned in 2156 CE, after the first few Knight-class frigates were introduced. At that time, the Phoebe would be converted into a museum vessel on Arxune, in the Laeth System. It remains in a state of readiness for reactivation in an emergency.

Namesake

The SFCV Phoebe (FF6) was named for one of the Greek mythological Titans.
