The Ascendant Star-class battleship is the largest class of military vessel fielded by the Empire of Tensa.
History
Design of the Ascendant Star-class began in 2292 CE, based on the latest schematics of the Templar-class battleships available at the time. The design was ordered by the first Emperor, in response to worsening relations between the Empire and The Initiative. Construction would begin on the prototype in 2297 CE, after several major revisions to the design, before it would be commissioned in 2303 CE. Rumors have been abounding since 2471 CE of plans to either upgrade or replace the class entirely.
