New Horizons Entertainment is a corporation within The Initiative.
History
Established in 2077 CE from the merger of several smaller enterprises created by entertainers who had emigrated from Earth, New Horizons Entertainment (NHE) came to rapidly dominate the entertainment industry. Over the subsequent years, the company would hold a large market share of the film, picture, and interactive entertainment markets. They would remain a leader in pioneering new entertainment, being among the first to make use of new products such as simulated sensory feedback equipment. However, with New Horizons Entertainment would run afoul of several bad business decisions and practices, which would lead to the company nearly becoming bankrupt at one point. With an aggressive restructuring campaign, the company would manage to avoid going out of business, but lost their market dominance as a result.
