- 01/07: Resources are diverted from the incomplete SFCV Lelantos (FF-18) to begin construction on the new vessels.

- 02/18: The SFCV Fólkvangr (C7) is launched.
- 02/19: The SFCV Ginnungagap (C8) is launched.
