History

Originally constructed in 2241 CE, as the central meeting point for several of the major families of the Tensa Collective, the building that would become the Palace implemented a number of disparate styles, blending traditional Japanese architecture with Russian. However the more decorative elements were inspired by northern and central African design cues. This original structure would suffer several minor fires, which received some level of repair. However during the conflict that would lead to the foundation of the Empire of Tensa, the building would be used first as a barracks and weapons depot, and then additionally as a command post. Becoming a target, the structure received severe damage, and was partially razed in the fighting, before being partially demolished in the subsequent years. Recalling the historical significance of the site, the second Emperor of Tensa, Shirou Hakim, would elect to rebuild on the site. A number of changes, such as implementing automated security systems, a defensive wall around the palace, expansive gardens, as well as a sprawling underground complex.
