History
The SFCV Ashmaker (K1-34) was laid down for construction in late June of 2106 CE, at the Loki Anchorage, in the Arc System. The Ashmaker was assigned to a number of task forces to aid in anti-piracy operations, without having a distinguished role.
The Ashmaker served in a largely escort role for the first few decades of it's existence. This would change during the Sovereign Colonies Conflict, when the Ashmaker was one of a number of corvettes refitted for independent covert deep-space operations, jump in on the edge of renegade systems, and continue in-system on something resembling ballistic trajectory. The Ashmaker was one of the few corvettes to successfully accomplish it's mission, unlike it's sister vessel, the Angra Mainyu.
Over the next few centuries, the Ashmaker would eventually be converted back to a Standard corvette configuration, and serve without much distinction.
