History

Construction began on the SFCV K1-28 in 2106 CE, with the vessel being launched in 2107 CE, with the third wave of corvettes. It, along with several other vessels such as the SFCV K1-27 was assigned to the Second Fleet.

Initially the ship was to be named after Damion Jacobs, a statesman of some renown and impact after the War of Secession.
