History
The SFCV Iskander (B8) was commissioned in 2022 at The Hive on Sanctuary. The Iskander would remain in service throughout the war, but was absent for the Fall of Earth while away on convoy duties. As a result, the Iskander (B8) would suffer minimal damage during the war, and required minimal attention. Iskander was able to remain in service until 2342 CE, when it was decommissioned for the Praetorian-class battleships.
Namesake
The SFCV Iskander (B8) was named for Iskandarnamah, the Persian equivalent of the name "Alexander", for Alexander the Great, a King of Macedon, for whom the SFCV Alexander (B7) is named for.
