The SFCV Alexander (B7) was a Templar-class battleship that was commissioned during the War of Secession.

History

The SFCV Alexander (B7) was launched in 2022 CE, from The Hive on Sanctuary. It was assigned to support the Fleet during the War of Secession. During the war, the Alexander survived with minimal damage until the Fall of Earth, when it would take massive damage requiring an overhaul at a drydock. During the Alexander's time time in the shipyard, it received a number of upgrades and overhauls, before being returned to the Fleet.

The Alexander remained in service, involved in anti-piracy work and fleet operations until 2342 CE, when the first Praetorian-class battleships came online.

Namesake

The SFCV Alexander (B7) was named for Alexander III of Macedon, one of the Kings of Macedon, more commonly known as Alexander the Great. Despite passing away at the age thirty-three, his armies coqnuered much of the known world at the time.
