History

The IPV Ghost Rider (K1-32) was laid down in 2106 CE at the shipyards over Arxune, in the Laeth System. The vessel would be commissioned the following year. The Ghost Rider was assigned as one of the vessels tasked with hunting down criminals who were planet-hopping, as well as supporting local police forces as needed.

Namesake

The IPV Ghost Rider (K1-32) was named for the riders of the Ghost Riders, another name for the mythical "Wild Hunt", a band of ghosts and/or supernatural beings whose ride would herald the coming of some major, usually cataclysmic, event.
