The Ghost-class Stealth Shuttle, fielded by The Initiative, is intended for stealth operations. To maintain it's cloak, it has a lower carrying capacity than the Porter-class Shuttle. Part of the intention behind it was to have it perform stealth fly-overs of enemy planetary sites, as well as conduct stealth landings and insertions. Because of their mission, the Ghost-class is favored by the Ranger Exploration Corps for landing on a number of worlds to avoid tipping off any potential natives.
