History
The SFCV Draugr (CL1-02) was laid down for construction, to be launched in 2355 CE, following the successful launch of the SFCV Revenant (CL1-01). While the SFCV Revenant was serving as a test platform, the Draugr was placed into service immediately after trials, for real-world comparison to existing vessels. It was assigned a number of solo patrols on the edge of human space, before being assigned on a relatively permanent basis to the Second Fleet.
Namesake
The SFCV Draugr is named for an undead creature from European mythology, referring to an "again-walker". It is synonymous with 'Revenant.
