The SFCV Oceanus (FF1) was an Archer-class frigate, built for the War of Secession.

History

The SFCV Oceanus (FF1) was laid down in 2020 CE, at The Hive, on Sanctuary, in the Arc System. The Oceanus was launched in 2021 CE, and immediately pressed into service guarding transports traveling to and from Earth, in the Sol System, as the War of Secession was beginning.

The Oceanus would have a largely undistinguished career, until it was lost with all hands in 2031 CE.

Namesake

The SFCV Oceanus (FF1) was named for one of the Greek Titans, Oceanus.
