The SFCV Erika Lordsbane (MFA-01) is a Blacksmith-class Fleet Auxiliary.

History

The SFCV Erika Lordsbane (MFA-01) is was laid down at the shipyards over Sanctuary, in 2083 CE. It was commissioned the following year, in 2084 CE, to serve with the Fleet. It spent the first four decades without seeing major combat, mostly being used to patch vessels up after skirmishes with pirate raids, but in 2131 CE, it was attached to one of the Fleets being used to combat the Sovereign Colonies. The Lordsbane was involved in one of the battles, taking some minor damage, but being instrumental in saving several vessels from critical damage.

The Lordsbane served through the next few centuries in relative obscurity, returning mostly to helping repair vessels after skirmishes, until 2434 CE, when it was used to help support the Fleets assigned to the Mithus System, following the disaster on Dwyn, after several vessels attempted to force their way past the blockade.

Namesake

The SFCV Erika Lordsbane (MFA-01) is named for Erika Lordsbane (2046 CE - 2083 CE), a daughter of a prominent military and political figure. Erika Lordsbane became noted as something of a technical wizard, helping work on several new military designs and systems.
