The SFCV Carthage (D3) was constructed in The Hive, on Sanctuary. It was launched in 2020 CE. The Carthage saw combat during the War of Secession, surviving to the end of the war.
Following the war, the vessel was briefly mothballed, before returning to active service in courier and anti-piracy operations. As the Striker-class began to show its age, the Carthage would be decommissioned in 2150 CE. It served as a museum vessel until 2344 CE, before being scrapped.

The SFCV Carthage (D3) was named for the city of Carthage, on the southern edge of the Mediterranean sea on Earth. It was destroyed by the nation of Rome, located on the other side of the Mediterranean.
