The IPV
Fourth Horseman (K1-33) is a
Conquistador-class corvette launched by
The Initiative as part of the
Interstellar Patrol.
History
The IPV Fourth Horseman (K1-33) was laid down in June of 2106 CE, at the shipyards over Arxune, in the Laeth System. The ship would be commissioned the following year, in March of 2107. The Fourth Horseman would immediately join the Interstellar Patrol (ISP). In 2237 CE, with the outbreak of the Sovereign Colonies Conflict, the Fourth Horseman briefly sought refuge at Hermes, in the Arc System, for emergency repairs after being damaged by a renegade vessel.
Namesake
The IPV Fourth Horseman (K1-33) is named for one of the mythological four horsemen who would herald the apocalypse. These riders, in some cultures, were considered to be "ghost riders" or members of the "Wild Hunt", bands of supernatural beings whose coming heralded disaster.
