History
The SFCV Heart of Summer (BB1-04) was constructed in orbit over Sanctuary, finishing up the year after completion of the lead vessels of it's class in 2342 CE. Following it's shakedown cruise, the Heart of Summer was placed into service as the flagship of the Second Fleet, primarily involved in chasing down pirates and renegade forces. In 2408 CE, the Heart of Summer was responsible for rescuing survivors off a colony transport bound for the Mithus System when their life support broke down. Despite being severely overcrowded and straining the Heart of Summer's systems to capacity, almost everyone rescued from the distressed ship was able to survive until more help arrived.
