It was one of the few vessels not mothballed following the withdrawal of Initiative forces from the Sol System in 2037 CE.
In 2101 CE the Brasil was involved in a collision with a civilian craft. It was drydocked for repairs, before returning to service. In 2132 CE, it was decommissioned, while a decommissioning crew examined it, they found leftover damage from the collision in 2101, requiring it to be scrapped.
