Oya, the eighth planet in the Arc System, is a frozen planet. It's believed to have been an planet that was flung from it's own star system before being caught in Arc's gravity and coming into orbit.
Because of it's unique situation as an extra-solar capture, it's a primarily protected planet while archaeologists and the Ranger Exploration Corps explore the planet looking for any evidence of alien life that might've been on the planet prior to it's atmosphere freezing.
