Tannhäuser Tor (PO1-04) is a sister platform to Torr Hernn (PO1-01). Both orbit over Sanctuary, serving as major transit hubs for cargo and personnel both around the planet, and in the Arc System in general. Like it's sister platform on the far side of the planet, it has an attached Architect-class Shipyard. Despite being an orbital facility, it has an almost permanent populace of two thousand men and women, not including people passing through.

History

Tannhäuser Tor began construction in 2108 CE following the rapid expansion of several cities on Sanctuary. As these cities were not within Torr Hernn'soperating radius, construction began immediately on Tannhäuser Tor, with operations beginning within several months after construction began.

Namesake

Tannhäuser Tor translates to "Tannhauser Gate", a reference to "Blade Runner".
